Immigration reform advances in US Senate with over 60 votes
Posted on 15:32 by Unknown
The Senate voted 67-27 to advance an amendment to the immigration reform bill that was submitted last week.
Some complained that the Senate was voting on the 119-page proposal before having a chance to analyze it.
I have to say: What did they do over the weekend?
Isn't it the job of a senator and staff to review these things? Senators can't read 119 pages in a few days? There's no staff member available to read the 119 pages?
SRSLY?
